It all started with an architecture site visit to Nalagarh where I carried my Canon point and shoot camera for documentation. It was on a day there that I discovered some features like colour swapping and colour accenting that excited me and I started clicking just for fun. I did click a lot of photographs and made one of them my wallpaper. The initiating moment was one when a friend saw that wallpaper and was amazed at the fact that I had clicked it. I felt immense happiness and pride at my new found skills.
From that day on, I carried my camera everywhere looking for interesting shots and I did find them. I slowly grew out of it and finally got my first DSLR camera a week back. I have never been so proud or contended.
Photography to me is more than a coloured picture. It means a LOT more. A photograph packs in itself, the power to freeze time and to show the world around the exact moment for years to come with the emotion you intend. Flowers are never noticed when not in photographs. Nor are still walls and silhouettes.
They say a picture can speak a thousand words. I say many more. The way you capture and present a frame totally defines the mood, the texture, the emotion and the subject. I am in LOVE with photography. It is an expensive hobby, too expensive for me to dive deep in as of now. But I am sure I will one day with my success, go in for the greater joys and toys the world of photography has to offer me. I would love it to be my profession. My avocation and vocation combined, as Frost would put it.

Love
What is love really ? Is it an emotion, a feeling, a hormonal imbalance or just a premonition ? Is love real ? Are we real ? Is what we feel real or is it just something that our brain wants us to feel ?
Love is light. Love is pure. Love is being you for yourself and them. When you need to work in love, it isn't love anymore.
